Getting to know you and your family, and helping you enjoy your most treasured people is something I take seriously. All of my photography experiences are about more than just getting beautiful photos of you: they're about creating authentic and lasting memories for generations to come. Being able to use my gift to help remind you of the love you have for your people is my joy! And..we’re gonna have a lot of fun doing that!

At a rest stop in Georgia in November 2000- that’s where it all started. I was traveling home after visiting family for Thanksgiving and I carefully took out my drugstore point and shoot film camera and snapped a photo of some trees beautifully lining a walking trail. I had the thought “I want to do this forever!”  Fast forward through high school and a few years into an education degree in college to when I took my first film photography class. I. was. hooked. A couple years after shooting as a hobby, some very kind friends trusted me enough to photograph their wedding and that’s when I accidentally started a business!

Weddings, engagements and bridals filled my time and my couples filled my heart, but it was the family sessions dotted into my schedule that made me truly feel alive. Those casual, yet meaningful moments shared within a family just about did me in. Isn’t there so much power in a parent’s assured love freely given to a child? Plus, they were just so FUN! A few years later, the Lord brought my sweet husband into my life, and after a quick season of dating, we planned our own wedding! We soon had 3 beautiful little girls join us, and once I became a mom, my time and priorities shifted. I knew it was time to focus on what I know best: photographing families and those natural moments you just never want to forget.

Most days you’ll find me busy keeping those 3 sweet girlies fed and happy (we’ve got snacks on snacks on snacks), reading stories galore and twirling around in dresses to their heart’s content. I recently embarked on our homeschool journey (finally putting that college degree to use!) and I am sure more fun adventures await us in that homeschool land. When I’m not photographing you and yours or being mom to them, I enjoy design of all kinds, reading, gardening, traveling, cooking and playing cards or board games with my cute husband.
